This Release Level of firmware is currently installed on all newly built systems shipping from the plant. This is also the final Release Level of system firmware planned for the Power5 product. Subsequent firmware Service packs for the SF240 Release Level will continue to be released.

Note for models 9119-590, 9119-595 and 9406-595:

Due to hardware prerequisites which must be verified prior to performing a firmware upgrade from release level SF230_xxx to higher release levels, customers are advised not to perform this upgrade on their own.
